Both graduates of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, we met through on-campus affiliations. After graduation, we continued on similar paths, both working in the banking industry but having a shared passion for real estate.

Rayford Smith Realty was established in 2001 and set out to create a boutique style real estate brokerage, focusing on the quality of every client interaction and representing them as trusted advisors across a complete suite of real estate services.  The foundation of our business sits firmly on our core values of accountability, respect, trust, knowledge, relationship building, reliability and professionalism. 

Rayford Smith extends far beyond how traditional real estate is practiced by informing and connecting our clients to our spheres of influence, contacts and extensive knowledge.  We believe that a unique part of our mission is to serve as an educational resource to our clients.  This approach has proven to be highly successful in ensuring our clients receive well-rounded representation.  Hence, we consider ourselves “More than just realtors…”

What motivates us is our collective passion for real estate commingled with our extensive experience.  We have been in the industry for over 18 years and are both business owners.  From our banking background, we are skilled negotiators, project managers, extremely organized and believe in transparency. We are experienced in small real estate development and have managed multi-million dollar deals.  You will receive the best results in a creative power force offering design, marketing and sales solutions for buyers, sellers, developers and investors.  

Rayford Smith’s business model has even attracted the time and attention of Robert L.
